About Spider Marketing LLC
Spider Marketing LLC is a web media company owning two online properties: classiccar.com a leading community website for the classic car enthusiast restorer and collector, and classictruckshop.com a leading destination website for the classic truck enthusiasts. We're also a web hosting, management and development company, providing a full range of services for companies looking to maintain a strong presence online. In addition Spider Marketing LLC also creates web-based information products and web services. We currently offer an eBook on online marketing, a monthly subscription based newsletter, and a replicated website to independent distributors of one of the leading network marketing companies. When we look out at today's Internet landscape, we still find the vast majority of websites not taking advantage of the opportunities in the marketplace available to them. Websites not doing fundamental things that could make a significant difference in the success of their site. So we started a company to change all that.
We chose the name Spider Marketing, because it represents our 20+ years of experience on the web, developing, managing and marketing websites. Along the way we've also spun a strong network of talented, reliable and professional web programmers, designers, marketers and webmasters that we can bring together to handle almost all types of projects.

Carl LaFlamme
Carl LaFlamme is President of Spider Marketing LLC and is responsible for all advertising and business development, as well as serving as Creative Director and Project Manager for web development projects. Prior to launching Spider Marketing in 2001 with partner Ted Welch, Mr. LaFlamme was a national-award winning advertising executive with over 20 years experience in traditional advertising and marketing, and over 10 years experience in Internet Marketing and website development. Mr. LaFlamme experience includes V.P. of Marketing for EWRX where he spearheaded the development of marketing programs and initiatives for ClassicCar.com and other EWRX-owned automotive websites. ?He is also a Clio-award winning copywriter, and recipient of numerous advertising awards for clients such as Frito-Lay, Pepsi Bottling Group, Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Canada, InterFirst Bank, and the Dallas Morning News. Carl is also the author of an eBook on Internet Marketing, and runs a successful network marketing business with his wife Suzanne in Dallas, TX.
Ted Welch
Ted Welch is Managing Editor of Classiccar.com and Classictruckshop.com, two leading destination websites for classic vehicle enthusiasts, restorers and collectors. He also heads the technical and web development arm of Spider Marketing. He is an automotive historian and classic vehicle restorer who has written articles for Automobile Quarterly, Cruisin' News and other magazines. He is also a regular contributor to the Auto Channel for businessweek.com In 1996, Ted created Classictruckshop.com, one of the top hobby sites for classic truck enthusiasts. As an Internet pioneer and web developer he has introduced and built websites for many clients in the automotive community. Ted lives in Sacramento California and can be frequently found cruising local car shows or tinkering under the hood of an old Chevy.
